What does a groundworks contractor do?
A groundworks contractor carries out the work below ground and at ground level that a build sits on, including site clearance, excavation, foundations, drainage, ducting, sub-bases and surfacing. We deliver the full scope for both domestic and commercial projects, so one team takes the job from a cleared plot to a finished, build-ready site.
Do you carry out both domestic and commercial groundworks?
Yes. We work on everything from a single private driveway or patio through to foundations, drainage and surfacing for multi-phase commercial developments. The same crews and the same standard go into every job, scaled to the work in front of us.
How much do groundworks cost?
Every site is different, so we price each job on its own merits rather than quoting a flat rate. We carry out a free site survey, then give you a clear fixed quote with a realistic programme and no surprises later.
Do you work nationwide?
We are based in Tonbridge, Kent and work most often across Kent, Sussex and Surrey, but we travel nationwide for the right project. If you are not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.
Are you fully insured and accredited?
Yes. We are CHAS Advanced accredited, CIWM members, first-aid trained, waste carrier licensed and fully insured, with more than 20 years on site.
